See who changed what
The change journal lists every recorded change in the workspace: what changed, who changed it and when. Open Change journal in the Admin section of the sidebar. Only an Administrator or General manager can.
Find a change
Section titled “Find a change”- Search by who changed it or by field name, or use the filters: Subject (the kind of record, such as Product, Price list or Order), Who, Change and Made by (A person or System).
- Set the date range. If nothing shows, “Widen the date range, pick more subjects, or clear the filters.”
- Click a row to open its preview. What changed lists each field with its old and new value, and Circumstances adds the context.
The Action column reads Created, Edited or Removed. Who names the person. Other entries read:
- System for a background job or automatic change.
- “Name (support)” for a Keelvy support person working inside the workspace on a support grant.
- “Name (removed)” for someone removed from the workspace, or “Former member #3” if their data was erased.
One record’s history
Section titled “One record’s history”From a row, click All changes to this record to see only that record, or All changes of this kind. Click Show the whole journal to leave. A product card has the same history in its Lifecycle tab, and material and specification cards carry it too.
Background activity
Section titled “Background activity”Job queues, price-engine runs and derived caches are left out unless you switch on Include background activity. Currency changes have a screen of their own, reached from the journal’s more-actions menu under Currency changes.
How far back it goes
Section titled “How far back it goes”The journal keeps recent history live and moves older entries to the archive. They are never deleted, and stay available for audits. A line at the top states the window, or says the workspace keeps its full history, and the oldest date visible.
To change it, open Settings → General and set Audit log retention. Your plan sets a ceiling, and the shorter of the two applies. Leave it blank to keep the whole journal live. This affects the journal only; orders, production, deliveries and stock movements are kept in full.
