Clear a workspace or close the account
Both options are in Settings → Export and cleanup, the last row of the settings list. Both are permanent, and both are for Administrators and General managers. There is no undo, not the Archive and not a backup you can reach from here.
Take a copy first. See Export everything.
Clear this workspace
Section titled “Clear this workspace”Use it to start over, for example after loading test data.
- Under Clear this workspace, read Always deleted: orders, supplier deliveries and purchases, with the stock, production, documents, payments and payroll recorded around them. Issued documents go with their PDFs. There are no switches for these.
- Under Also delete, switch on anything else you want gone: products, categories and brands, media library, price lists, customers, suppliers, materials and recipes, staff records, settings and more. Some groups need others; switching one on selects what it cannot go without. Nothing here is protected.
- To delete media files from storage as well, switch on Also delete the media files.
- Click Email me a code and enter the Confirmation code. It goes to your own address and is valid for about 15 minutes.
- Click Clear data, type the workspace name and click Delete.
Afterward, settings, units and the default price list return to their starting values, so the workspace still opens. What stays keeps working but loses links into what went: a sales channel keeps its credentials without its brand or default price list.
Close this account
Section titled “Close this account”This deletes everything in the workspace immediately, including the backup copies Keelvy holds. A cleanup never reaches those, because the backup is what a mistaken cleanup is rescued from.
- Every member loses access. A person’s Keelvy account survives: it is closed only if they delete it themselves on their account screen. See Change your name, email or password.
- What we invoiced you stays in our own accounting records.
- If you never took an archive, you must tick “I understand no archive was taken…”.
- The code for closing is separate from a cleanup code.
Click Close the account and confirm.
