Write the pages buyers read before they order
Buyers read these pages before they order, and payment providers require some of them. Each page is written per language and linked from the storefront footer once published.
Write the pages
Section titled “Write the pages”- Open Sales → Channels and open the storefront.
- Under Pages, choose the Language.
- Click Start from a draft. It writes a draft of every page in that language from your company’s details and country. Existing text is kept, and nothing is published.
- Open each page, read it, and fill every
[[ ]]blank. You answer for what the pages say. - Click Publish.
The pages are Delivery, Payment, Terms and conditions, Privacy policy, Returns and refunds, Contacts and About us. Each shows Not written, Draft or Published. Unpublish takes a page down. Remove this text clears it.
A page with [[ ]] blanks, or no title and text, cannot be published.
Set the Return window (days) before you click Start from a draft: the returns draft states it.
Keep the pages true with tokens
Section titled “Keep the pages true with tokens”[[delivery_methods]]on the delivery page shows the live list of your delivery methods and times, so the page never drifts from checkout.[[payment_methods]]on the payment page shows the payment methods on offer now.
Buyer emails
Section titled “Buyer emails”Under Buyer emails, a buyer who orders on this storefront is told three things, each on until you switch it off: Order placed, Shipped and Order changed (a cancellation, or a change to the lines, the total or the delivery). Choose a Reply-to address; empty, the emails ask buyers not to reply. If the workspace has no mail sender set up, buyers receive no email, and the section says so.
