Add a channel

A channel is the record that says where you sell, in which currency, from which warehouse and with which products. Connecting a shop attaches a platform to it.

  1. Open Sales → Channels.
  2. Click Add channel.
  3. Enter a Channel name. The code is generated from it; to set your own, open Advanced.
  4. Choose a Channel type. The type decides which settings appear below.
  5. Choose the Default locale: the language used when channel-facing copy has more than one translation.
  6. Under Price lists, choose one or more. The first is Primary, and the Default price list is the main price shown. The channel’s currency comes from these lists.
  7. Click Add channel.

Types that take a connection: Site (Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, WooCommerce), Marketplace (Faire, and in Ukraine Rozetka and monomarket), Import (retail partner reports) and Feed (Google Merchant Center, Meta catalog). Linesheet, Manual, Instagram, Press and Structured web have none. A Storefront can be added too.

  • Selling company: which of your companies sells here. Its invoices, payment account and legal pages are that company’s. Leave it empty for the workspace default.
  • Default warehouse and Backup warehouse: orders ship from the default when it can cover the whole order, otherwise from the backup. Lines are never split across warehouses.
  • Default order status: where new orders start. Choosing confirmed runs the normal confirmation, so stock is reserved and production planned.
  • Manual orders: lets your team pick this channel when typing an order.
  • Minimum order value: orders below it are not accepted. Blank means no minimum.
  • Sale unit for this channel: Each product decides (the default), Per piece or In packs. For packs, set Units per pack, and quantities must be multiples of it.
  • Default out-of-stock behavior: the policy for every listing on this channel that has no override.

Under Product scope, pick an Inclusion rule: All active products, By brand, By category, By collection or Manual. Each product’s Channels tab can override the rule. See Choose what is listed where.

For a Site or Marketplace channel, the Connection section links it to a platform. Connect Squarespace and Connect Faire start from here. Shopify and Wix start from the platform: see Connect Shopify and Connect Wix. Connect a shop adds a connection by typing its details, as for WooCommerce.

A channel created from a platform’s install starts with nothing published to the shop.

Channels are archived, not deleted. Use Show archived to see them again.
