Connect your own Cloudinary
Every photo is already delivered from Keelvy’s own CDN, at the size each channel asks for, with no account to connect and no second bill. Connect your own Cloudinary when you want the photos, the transformations and the signed links to come from an account you own, on your own bill.
Connect
Section titled “Connect”- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Find the Cloudinary tile and click Connect.
- Enter the Cloud name (it is in your Cloudinary dashboard URL), the API key and the API secret. The secret is stored encrypted and never shown again.
- Leave Media folder prefix blank to keep the default, or type your own.
- Under Brand, choose a brand to scope this Cloudinary to, or leave All brands (workspace-wide).
- Under Used for, tick Cloudinary delivery and Cloudinary transformations.
- Click Add connection.
Your own Cloudinary is included in some plans. If yours does not include it, the form shows See plans, and photos keep being delivered by Keelvy’s CDN, so nothing breaks.
You can connect several Cloudinary accounts, for example one per brand. A photo goes to its product brand’s Cloudinary first, then to the workspace-wide one.
When a photo goes to Cloudinary
Section titled “When a photo goes to Cloudinary”A photo is copied to your Cloudinary on its own when it is online and attached to a live product that a channel includes. It is copied again when it changes. There is nothing to press. Until then, and for every other photo, Keelvy serves it.
If your Cloudinary rejects an upload because of quota, credentials or an outage, Keelvy’s CDN keeps serving the photo until it recovers.
In a photo’s drawer, Delivery says which one serves it: Delivered by Cloudinary with the profile, or Delivered by Keelvy, with the reason. Copy public CDN URL copies the address.
See what serves your photos
Section titled “See what serves your photos”Settings → Media presets has a Delivery card. It says in one sentence whether Keelvy’s CDN serves everything or your Cloudinary serves the photos that are online on a live product a channel includes.
At the top of Media, the CDN counter shows the share of Cloudinary credits used per account. Quotas are per account and do not pool. If none of your accounts can be read, the counter says so: the credentials or the connection may be broken.
Presets that use Cloudinary
Section titled “Presets that use Cloudinary”Effects only Cloudinary can do, such as background removal or generative fill, are marked Cloudinary only in a preset and apply only to photos Cloudinary serves. See Delivery presets and per-channel crops.
