Erase a person's personal data

When someone asks you to erase what you hold about them, you do it from their customer card, and it reaches every copy at once.

  1. Open Sales → Customers and open the customer.
  2. Click Erase personal data…. Only an administrator can.
  3. Read what it removes, type the customer’s name to confirm, and click Erase personal data.

Keelvy removes the person from orders, issued documents, waybills, receipts, contacts, files, mail and history. It tells you how many records it changed.

Your books stay. Amounts, quantities, dates and document numbers remain, under an anonymous placeholder, so your sales history still adds up. On an order, the addresses shrink to the country and how the parcel travelled, the customer’s notes are cleared, and the person’s name, email and phone are taken out of your own notes.

This cannot be undone.

If it fails, nothing is left half-done. Run it again.

Keelvy cannot reach copies in a CRM you connected. An item in your actions queue lists them, so you can remove them there. See Keep customers and deals in your CRM.
