Use Skipper in Telegram or Slack

Message the Keelvy bot the way you’d message a colleague. It runs as you, asks Skipper for the answer, and shows each change with Apply and Reject buttons in the chat.

Each person connects their own account once.

Telegram

  1. Click the bell, then switch to Notification settings. Under Mine, find Messengers.
  2. Click Connect next to Telegram, then Open Telegram.
  3. Press Start in Telegram. The link works once and expires after ten minutes.

Slack

  1. A Slack workspace administrator first adds the app: Settings → Inbox → Messengers → Add to Slack.
  2. Then open Notification settings, find Messengers under Mine, and click Sign in with Slack.

An account nobody connected gets a message saying how to connect, and nothing is stored. If the Telegram or Slack option says “Not set up”, contact support.

Write to the bot in a private chat (Telegram) or a direct message (Slack).

  • A question or an instruction. Skipper answers in the chat. A change arrives as a message with Apply, Change and Reject. Change lets you reply with what to adjust. Nothing is saved until you press Apply.
  • A file or photo. It goes to the Inbox, and the bot offers Ask the assistant about this.
  • A voice note in Telegram. The bot replies with what it heard before it acts, so you can catch a misheard word. If voice isn’t switched on, it asks you to type.
  • Quick looks, answered right away without using AI credits: /stock oak plank, /order 1042, /today, /approvals, /queue, /scan.

/approvals lists what waits for your decision, each with Approve and Deny. /scan opens a barcode scanner in Telegram. /new starts a fresh conversation. An instruction after six hours of silence also starts a new one.

  • You see only what your role allows, the same as in the app.
  • The bot downloads files up to 20 MB from Telegram. Larger files go into the Inbox from the app.
  • If you belong to more than one workspace, the bot asks which one the first time and remembers. Send workspace to change it.
  • A button on a proposal expires after a few hours; the proposal itself stays. Ask again, or approve it in the app.
  • If the workspace has no AI credits left, the bot says so and your files are still saved to the Inbox.
