Sort and tag photos with AI
A photographer delivers four hundred files named IMG_2041.jpg. AI can look at each one and propose what is in it and which product it belongs to. Every proposal waits for you: nothing is added to a photo, a product or a search until you accept it.
Switch it on for new photos
Section titled “Switch it on for new photos”- Open Settings → Media presets.
- In AI assistance for new photos, switch on what you want:
- Suggest tags for new photos: what is in the shot, its colors, its material and its kind (packshot, lifestyle, detail, size chart).
- Suggest a product for new photos: which product a photo belongs to, from what it shows and any text printed on it, such as a label or a code.
- Sort new photos with AI: a shot type, product, place, theme and alt text in your languages. A low-confidence guess is left blank.
- Find the focal point of new photos. See Set a focal point and crop a photo.
Each setting uses AI credits for every new photo, and the card shows the price per photo. They start with the next photo you upload and do not touch photos already in the library. AI must be available to your role and switched on for the workspace.
Accept a suggestion
Section titled “Accept a suggestion”- Tags: open the photo, tick the suggested tags under Suggested tags, and click Accept selected, or Accept all. Dismiss throws them away.
- Product: under Suggested product, each card says why it matched, for example “The text on the photo matches the SKU …”. Click Attach here on the card you want. For a family, choose whether to attach to This product, the Whole model, or One variant. If variants look the same in the photo, Keelvy offers the whole model rather than guessing one. Undo reverses it.
For photos already in the library, open a photo and click Suggest tags or Find the product, or select photos and use Suggest tags.
Sort a folder or the Inbox with AI
Section titled “Sort a folder or the Inbox with AI”- Open a folder or the Inbox, optionally select some files, and click Sort with AI.
- Read the quote: how many photos will be read, how many were already read and are not charged again, and the price.
- Click Sort … photos. It runs in the background.
- Review the table of proposals: Shot type, Product, Location, Theme and Alt text, with how sure the AI is. Photos flagged Blurred, Too small or Near-duplicate are marked.
- Click Accept all, Accept column, or accept cell by cell, then apply.
It is written as one step with Undo, except alt text, which Undo does not remove.
Tell near-identical products apart
Section titled “Tell near-identical products apart”Settings → Media presets → Recognizing products by their photos compares a new photo with the photos already attached to your products, which costs nothing. When two models look alike, such as a vanilla and a mint candle in the same jar, a second look uses AI credits and your notes. Add a distinguishing note for a model, such as “bark on the base”, to help. The table shows how often suggestions for each model were confirmed and what it was mistaken for.
