Review and decide approvals
A change held by a policy waits in Approvals, in the Finance & team section of the sidebar. Administrators, General managers and people with the Approver role see it.
Decide one
Section titled “Decide one”- Open Approvals. The default filter is Pending; switch to All to see past decisions.
- Click a request. The drawer shows the Operation, the Entity, who it was Requested by, when it Expires, a Summary and Proposed changes: each field with the value it replaces and the value it becomes.
- Click Approve, with an optional note, or Reject. A rejection needs a reason, written under Reason for rejection.
An approved change is applied at once: “Change approved and applied.”
Decide many
Section titled “Decide many”Tick requests and use the bar that appears: Approve or Reject. Select all N matching applies to every page of the view. A rejection note is recorded on each one. Already decided requests are left as they are. A large run continues in the background, and you can close the page.
On a record with changes waiting, a banner shows “N changes pending review” with Approve all and Reject all.
Statuses
Section titled “Statuses”Pending, Approved, Rejected, Canceled, Expired and Superseded.
- A newer change to the same field replaces an older waiting one, and the older one is closed as Superseded rather than applied. Otherwise approving it later would put the old value back.
- A request nobody decides reaches its Expires date and is closed.
- A request whose record was archived or removed is hidden. Switch to All to see it.
