Find products and change many at once

The product list is where you find a product and where you work on many at once. Filters narrow the list; a selection brings up the action bar.

  1. Open Catalog → Products.
  2. Type in the search box. It matches SKU, product ID, slug and vendor code.
  3. In Quick filters, click the chips you want: Status, Type, Brand, Channel, Stock, Category, Collection, Location and attributes. Choosing several narrows the list: a product must match all of them. Two values of the same attribute mean either one.
  4. Three chips find work to do: Low stock only, Fallback SKU only (products still on an automatic code instead of their brand’s rule) and No base unit.

Active filters show as chips. Click a chip to remove it, or use the clear-all control to drop them all. Archived products are hidden unless you switch on Archived products in the view options.

  • View mode switches between List, Gallery and Kanban.
  • In the view options, Variants as rows shows each variant on its own row instead of one row per family. A products-with-variants filter shows them automatically.
  • Columns lets each person choose which columns to see.
  • Group by variant axis groups products by an axis such as color or size.
  • Preview pane shows a product’s photos, prices, stock and identifiers without opening it.

The Kanban view is a board for approvals. When changes to a product are waiting for a reviewer, its card sits in Review. Drag it to Live to approve every waiting change, or back to Draft to send it back. Sending back asks for a reason.

  1. Tick the products. The action bar appears.
  2. Choose an action:
    • Assign prices puts the selection on the price lists you tick.
    • Assign channels sets whether the selection is listed on each sales channel. Channel rules stay as they are.
    • New linesheet makes a linesheet from the selection and opens it.
    • Print labels opens the label printing drawer. See Barcodes, QR codes and labels.
    • Fill attributes with AI proposes values for the empty attributes each product’s category expects.
    • Mark live, Set draft or Archive selected, under Status.

Archive selected shows an Undo right after. Products that already have the status you chose are counted as “already had it”, and products that need approval are counted as “need approval”.

  1. Select the products. There is a limit per run; the drawer tells you when you are over it.
  2. Click Fill attributes with AI.
  3. Read each proposal. Values come from each product’s name and description.
  4. Click Accept on one value, or Accept all. Or click Discard.

Nothing is saved until you accept, and a value that is already set is never replaced. If a product’s value follows its model, it stays following.
