In Ukraine: fiscal receipts with Checkbox
This article is for sellers registered in Ukraine, where a sale must be recorded through a cash register. Keelvy works with Checkbox, a software cash register (PRRO). A company registered in a country with no fiscal receipts, such as the US, does not use it.
Connect the cash register
Section titled “Connect the cash register”- Open Settings → Integrations and find the Cash registers group.
- Click Connect on Checkbox.
- Enter the Cash register license key from the Checkbox cabinet, and the cashier: a Cashier login and Cashier password, or a Cashier PIN. Choose the Company the register is registered to. Receipts go out under that company’s tax number.
- Save and press Test.
If you have more than one company that issues receipts, a register that names no company is refused until you choose one.
Turn it on for a channel
Section titled “Turn it on for a channel”- Open Sales → Channels and open the channel.
- In Fiscal receipts, turn on Fiscalise this channel’s sales and choose the Cash register. It must belong to the company that sells on the channel.
- Under When, choose:
- At payment or delivery, whichever is first: a prepaid order is receipted when paid, and a cash-on-delivery order when it is received.
- When the order is paid.
- When the buyer receives it.
- Under Send to the buyer, choose By e-mail and By SMS. The register sends the receipt itself, and its SMS are paid from the register’s balance.
- Optionally set a Payment caption, how the payment reads on the receipt, such as Cash on delivery.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”When the trigger fires, Keelvy asks the register to issue the receipt. A refund or a canceled paid order gets a return receipt. A receipt is Pending, Issued or Refused, and it keeps the fiscal code and a link to the receipt page. Keelvy watches the register’s SMS balance and warns you before it runs out.
An order’s receipts page shows the sale receipt and each return receipt, with Issue sale receipt, Issue again, Check status, Send again (to an email or phone you enter) and Open receipt.
If a receipt is refused, the page says why. Common reasons are that the channel is not set to fiscalise, no cash register is connected, the register belongs to another company, the register does not take the order’s currency, or the order has no selling company.
