Take online payments on your storefront
Buyers pay on your payment provider’s secure page, and the money goes to your own account. A paid order is recorded in Finance, and a fiscal receipt follows where your country requires one.
Connect your payment account
Section titled “Connect your payment account”- Open Settings → Integrations, in the Online payments group.
- Connect Stripe or, in Ukraine, MonoPay.
For Stripe, enter a restricted API key with Checkout Sessions: Write, PaymentIntents: Read and Charges: Read. A test key (rk_test_…) charges no real card. A publishable key (pk_…) is refused. Then add a webhook endpoint in Stripe with the address and events the connection shows, and enter its Webhook signing secret (whsec_…).
For MonoPay, enter the API token from monobank internet acquiring (web.monobank.ua → the payment method → Settings). A test token charges no real card. There is nothing to register for callbacks. MonoPay is offered for companies registered in Ukraine.
Run the connection’s test.
Publish the pages providers require
Section titled “Publish the pages providers require”Payment providers require your terms, returns and refunds, privacy and contacts pages. Publish them first. See Write the pages buyers read before they order.
Switch it on for the storefront
Section titled “Switch it on for the storefront”- Open Sales → Channels and open the storefront.
- Under Online payment, choose the Payment account.
- Choose At the checkout:
- Pay later by invoice: the order is placed and you send an invoice.
- Buyer chooses: pay online now, or pay later.
- Online payment only.
- Under Record payments in, choose the account paid orders are recorded in, or The default account.
The section tells you what is missing, for example Choose a payment account to take payments online, or that the provider is not available for the country your selling company is registered in, or that it does not charge in the storefront’s currency. It also names missing pages.
The Orders module must be on.
What the buyer sees
Section titled “What the buyer sees”At checkout the buyer chooses Pay online now or Pay later, or, with online payment only, Place order and pay. After paying they see Payment received. If the payment fails, the order is still saved: the buyer can Pay now again, and the shop contacts them otherwise. A payment page left unfinished expires, and the order stays saved and unpaid.
