Choose what you are notified about

Keelvy tells you what needs you: an order that failed to import, stock below its minimum, a production order running late, an approval waiting. You choose which of these reach you, and where.

Click the bell in the top bar. Needs attention is first: things that ask you to do something, with Mark done and Dismiss. Below it, What’s happening is the feed. Filter it by All, Unread or High priority, and use Mark read or Mark all read.

  1. On the Notifications screen, switch to Notification settings.
  2. Under Mine, find the notification in its group (Orders, Approvals, Stock, Production, Purchasing, Media and so on).
  3. Switch it on or off with its master switch, then choose where it arrives: Bell, Email, Telegram or Slack.

The bell is always in Keelvy. Email, Telegram and Slack reach you outside it. A switch for a channel you haven’t connected does nothing until you do: click Connect next to it. Telegram and Slack connect your own account; see Use Skipper in Telegram or Slack. Email goes to your account address, or enter another under Email address.

Notifications that can fire many times a day carry Frequent: their email, Telegram and Slack switches start off, so turn on only the ones you want.

Presets change many switches at once: Recommended (what fits your role), Only what needs me, Everything and Critical only. You see what would change before you click Apply, and Undo reverses it.

A setting marked Pinned on by an administrator can’t be turned off.

Administrators choose whose settings they edit with Whose notifications:

  • Mine: your own choices. They win over your role and the workspace.
  • A role: what people in that role start with. A person with two roles gets what either role turns on.
  • Everyone: the workspace’s starting point.

Open the same screen from Settings → Notifications. Use Pin on to keep a notification on for everyone in that scope. People can still change what isn’t pinned. Until you change something, Keelvy’s own defaults apply.

Scenarios tell you when they plan work, send a digest or fail, and an AI photo or video tells you when it’s ready or couldn’t be made. These are notifications like any other, so you choose them here.
