Push products to a shop

A push sends a channel’s listings, prices and stock to the shop. You always preview first: nothing is sent until you push, and nothing is removed unless you tick it.

  1. Open Sales → Channels and open the shop’s channel.
  2. In Push to the shop, choose Listings: Pending only or Everything.
  3. Under Include, tick Catalog, Prices, Stock and Photos and alt text as needed.
  4. Click Preview push. The summary reads “{create} to create, {update} to update, {held} held back.”
  5. Review the list. Click Push to the shop and confirm the count.

Prices and stock go out by variant after the catalog.

Before anything is created, Keelvy matches the channel’s SKUs to products already in the shop. A match is updated and never created twice. A product only in the shop is left alone. If a SKU matches in more than one way, the listing is held back and nothing is guessed.

  • A variant has no price on this channel. See Set and pin prices on a product.
  • The shop refused the listing; its answer is on the listing.
  • A removal in the listing is not confirmed.
  • The shop’s products could not be read, so nothing was created.

A product no longer on the channel, a variant no longer included, or an old listing shape shows up under Removals from the shop. Tick the ones to send. Unticked removals wait, and the listings they belong to wait with them.

Ticking Photos and alt text sends each listing’s photos with the alt text they carry on this channel, and replaces the photos already on the shop. Preview shows every photo’s alt text. Keelvy warns how many products’ photos will be replaced and asks you to confirm that count. Photos can only be sent from a person’s own push, not by the hourly push.

A video is sent only where the channel takes one and its web copy is ready. Otherwise the preview says why it was left out.

On a first push of a product that is already in the shop, Keelvy replaces its description and SEO fields with its own, and says so in the preview. Description, SEO title, SEO description and Page address are sent when the shop takes them. Collections are added, and created if the shop has none.

Turn on Push pending listings every hour to send pending listings automatically: the catalog first, then prices and stock. It becomes available after your first successful push from this panel.

Stock does not wait for this switch. Keelvy sends every stock change to the shop as it happens. The switch governs the catalog and prices. Removals are never sent on their own: they wait in your actions queue.

  • Another push to this shop is running. Try again in a minute.
  • This channel’s connection cannot push a catalog. The connector does not support it.
  • Push from this panel once before turning on the automatic push.
