Turn optional features on or off
Which parts of Keelvy you have is set by your plan. A workspace does not carry a list of on and off switches for every area. A few behaviors are your choice, and they are in Settings → General.
See what your plan includes
Section titled “See what your plan includes”Open Settings → Plan and usage. What your plan includes lists every capability your subscription carries, grouped as Catalog, Commerce, Supply, Manufacturing, Labor, Extensibility and Platform. Plans shows what a bigger plan would add.
If a screen says a capability “is turned off” and offers See what your plan includes, your plan does not carry that capability. See Change your plan.
The switches you control
Section titled “The switches you control”Open Settings → General. Only an Administrator or General manager can change them.
- Track lots and batches, With lots or Without lots. With lots, every receipt, production run and shipment records the lot it moved, and a lot can be traced end to end. Turn it on when you have expiry dates or recalls. A second setting, Which batch goes first, appears once lots are on.
- Handle repairs, With repairs or Without repairs. With repairs you get a Repairs screen, a warranty card on products and a service book for each numbered unit.
- Advanced production, Simple assembly or Multi-level assembly. Multi-level lets a specification contain another specification, and each level gets its own production order. Turning it off is refused while a specification still contains another, and the screen names the ones in the way.
Each switch shows “Your plan does not include…” when the plan lacks the capability.
What switching off does
Section titled “What switching off does”It deletes nothing. For lots and repairs, every record stays and comes back untouched when you switch on again. A switch is also refused while something else in the workspace depends on it.
