Work with Skipper day to day
Skipper is the assistant inside Keelvy. It reads your workspace as you, so it sees only what your role lets you see. Every change it wants to make waits for your yes. This is how Lumen & Fern’s owner uses it in a normal week.
1. Ask something you can check
Section titled “1. Ask something you can check”Open Overview → Skipper, or click Open Skipper on any screen. Start with questions whose answers you can compare with a screen: Which materials are running low?, Where does order 1042 stand?, Which products are missing a description? Questions that only read data answer straight away. Click Attach files to add a spreadsheet, a PDF or a photo; it also lands in the Inbox under the chat.
Steps in detail: Ask Skipper a question in the app, What Skipper can do.
2. Hand it the drafting
Section titled “2. Hand it the drafting”Real jobs it does well: draft a description for a product and translate it, fill the empty attributes of a selection, put products in a collection, draft a purchase order for what is below minimum from the main supplier, preview an invoice before it is issued, draft a credit note, and record what a supplier quotes. To describe how you make a product, click Set up production and answer its questions one step at a time.
Steps in detail: Set up production by describing how you make a product.
3. Review what waits
Section titled “3. Review what waits”Skipper never changes data while it talks. A change appears as a proposal beside the chat, with the old value under was and the new one next to it. Click Approve to apply it as you, with your permissions, or Reject. To adjust it, reply in the chat (“use the wholesale list”) and it revises the same proposal. Approve all applies a whole turn’s proposals, each on its own. If an approval policy covers the change, the card reads Sent for review and a reviewer decides. An undecided proposal expires after a week.
Steps in detail: Approve or reject Skipper’s changes, Keep Skipper from changing prices without approval.

6. Keep an eye on credits
Section titled “6. Keep an eye on credits”AI work is paid in credits: Skipper’s answers, product text, photo work, product videos and reading files. The allowance is spent first, then bought packs. If none are left, the message box says sending is paused, and nothing you type is sent or charged. Nothing is charged for an action that fails.
