Write a different title for one channel
A marketplace may want a keyword-heavy title and your storefront a short one. A channel’s text replaces the product’s own text on that channel only.
Write it
Section titled “Write it”- Open the product and go to the Channels tab.
- On the channel’s row, open Edit listing details.
- Fill Title on this channel and Description on this channel.
- Click Save.
Leave a field empty to keep using the product’s own text. The listing shows This listing has its own text or Inherited from the product, so you can tell which one was used.
Other per-channel settings in the same drawer
Section titled “Other per-channel settings in the same drawer”- Sale unit on this channel: Per piece or In packs. Inherit follows the channel, product or family. A line below tells you where the current value comes from.
- Out-of-stock behavior, and Preorder lead time (days) where it applies.
Photo texts
Section titled “Photo texts”Alt text and captions are set per channel under Photo texts on the channel: Publish the resolved text or Publish none. Alt text and captions can be written once as templates and resolved per channel and language.
