Check a channel before you rely on it
Preflight plays a channel’s platform against your setup: Keelvy reads your catalog the way the platform would, sends a test order the way the platform sends it, and shows what it would send back. Nothing reaches the platform. A test order is archived when the check ends.
Run it
Section titled “Run it”- Open Sales → Channels and open the channel.
- Find Preflight and click Run Preflight.
- Read the Result: Passed, Warnings, Needs fixing or Skipped for each step.
The steps
Section titled “The steps”- Connection: the platform answers with the credentials the connection holds.
- Catalog: what the platform reads from Keelvy, held to its documented rules.
- Incoming order: a test order, sent through the real code path.
- Answers the platform reads: status, tracking number and cancellation, field by field.
- What Keelvy sends: the tracking number, receipt link or fulfillment Keelvy would send for that order. It is shown under What Keelvy would send (not sent).
What it finds
Section titled “What it finds”- Credentials missing or refused, the platform not answering, or a shop address that is not HTTPS.
- An empty catalog, or listings left out because they have no price.
- An order line that matches no product. The message names the SKU or listing id to check.
- An order whose currency is not the channel’s.
- Sending the same order twice not returning the same order.
For a marketplace price list it also names each offer with no picture, no description, a title that is too long, a category not mapped, or a price not in hryvnia.
Run it after connecting a shop, after changing price lists, and before you switch on the hourly push.
If Preflight is unavailable
Section titled “If Preflight is unavailable”The message reads This channel’s connector has no check yet, or You do not have permission to check this channel.
