File documents from the Inbox
The Inbox holds files nobody has filed yet: a supplier’s certificate, a drawing, a partner’s sales report. It sits under the proposals on the Skipper screen.
What lands in the Inbox
Section titled “What lands in the Inbox”Each file shows where it came from: Added here, Attached in a chat, By email, From Telegram, From Slack or By an automation. To add one yourself, drop it on the Inbox or attach it in a Skipper chat. Mine shows only your files.
File a file
Section titled “File a file”- Open Overview → Skipper and find the file in the Inbox. Preview shows what is in it.
- Click File to….
- Choose Where: a product’s technical files, a material’s files (safety data sheets too), a customer’s documents, a supplier’s documents, the media library, or a partner’s sales or stock report.
- Choose the record (for example the product or the supplier), say What the file is, and click File.
The file moves out of the Inbox onto that record, under the rules and permissions of the place it goes.
Read a partner’s report
Section titled “Read a partner’s report”Choose a partner channel as the destination and click Read the report. Keelvy reads a table, a PDF, a photo or a message and records what sold or what is left at the partner. A report that AI read waits on the sales feed screen for you to post it; the dialog tells you how many lines it read and how many were already recorded.
Reading a report with AI uses credits.
Ask Skipper about a file
Section titled “Ask Skipper about a file”Click Ask Skipper on a file. Skipper reads it, says what it is and proposes what to do with it.
What happens to files you don’t file
Section titled “What happens to files you don’t file”A file not filed within 30 days is archived and removed. You can archive one yourself with Archive, and bring it back with Restore while it is still stored.
