Change your name, email or password
These settings belong to you, not a workspace, and follow you between workspaces. They are on one screen, Your account. Click your avatar and choose My account, or open Settings → My account inside a workspace. With no workspace yet, Your account is the page you land on after signing in.
The screen runs top to bottom: About you, Time and numbers (inside a workspace only), Sign-in and security, Your workspaces (on Your account only) and Delete account. Older links to account settings, security or sign-in lead to the same screen.
Your name and phone
Section titled “Your name and phone”Under About you, set Display name. It shows in the sidebar and avatar menu; leave it blank to show your email. Phone number is optional and needs a Phone country. It is edited from inside a workspace.
Time and numbers
Section titled “Time and numbers”Inside a workspace, choose Follow the workspace or Choose my own for time zone, number format and clock. A choice of your own stays put when the workspace changes.
Your sign-in methods
Section titled “Your sign-in methods”Sign-in and security is one card with a row for each way into your account. Each row shows its state, and its button opens the row in place.
- Email code or link: Always on. Nothing to set up.
- Password: Optional. Click Set or change.
- Passkeys: how many you have. Click Manage. See Add a passkey.
- Google: Available, where your Keelvy offers it. You sign in with the Google account for your address from the sign-in page.
- Email address: the address you sign in with. Click Change.
- Two-factor authentication: a switch, with your recovery codes under it. See Set up two-step sign-in.
Your email address
Section titled “Your email address”- In the Email address row, click Change, enter the New email address and click Send the code.
- Enter the code sent to the new address. If a code also reaches your current address, enter that one next.
- Click Confirm the change.
From then on you sign in with the new address. If it asks you to confirm it’s you, do, on the same page, then continue.
Your password
Section titled “Your password”In the Password row, click Set or change, then Send the code. Enter the code from your email and set a new password. A password is optional; you can keep signing in with an emailed code.
Delete your account
Section titled “Delete your account”At the bottom, under Delete account, type your email to confirm and click Delete account. This erases your sign-in, your name and your membership of every workspace. There is no archive and no undo, and nobody can bring it back. If you are the only administrator of a workspace, give another member the admin role there first.
To leave one workspace and keep your account, ask an administrator to remove you there. To empty or close a workspace, see Clear a workspace or close the account.
