Send products to Google Merchant Center or Meta

Keelvy builds one file for each destination every hour and serves it from a private address. Google Merchant Center and Meta read it on their own schedule. Nothing is pushed, and no Google or Meta login is stored in Keelvy.

  1. Open Sales → Channels and click Add channel.
  2. Choose type Feed. Set the Default locale and the Price lists: the language, currency and prices of the file come from them.
  3. Save.
  1. Open the feed channel. Under Connection, click Connect a shop and choose Google Merchant Center or Meta catalog.
  2. Enter the Target country as two letters, such as US or DE. It decides whether the file’s prices should include tax. Keelvy reports a price list that differs and never converts.
  3. Set the Product page address, such as https://shop.example.com/products/{sku}. Skip it if the channel names your own storefront as its landing channel.
  4. Choose a Feed token: 24 to 128 letters, digits, dashes or underscores. It is the secret in the feed’s address. Change it to retire the old address.
  5. For Meta, choose the File format: xml is the default, csv is the format of Meta’s own examples.
  6. Save. The new connection is selected on the channel; save the channel.

Open the channel. Product feed file shows the Feed address. People who can edit the channel see the real token. Copy the address into Merchant Center or Meta Commerce Manager as a scheduled fetch.

The first file is built within the hour. Until then, the address answers “building”. Build now queues a build right away.

Under What the feed carries:

  • Stock: All locations, Chosen locations or No stock. With no stock, products count as in stock unless their own out-of-stock policy says otherwise.
  • Price before: an optional second price list with the earlier price, shown as a discount. A scheduled sale wins over it.
  • Landing channel: the storefront or connected shop that product links go to.
  • Attributes: which of your attributes fills color, size, material, pattern, gender, age group, Google product category and custom labels 0 to 4. A field left on Automatic is guessed by name.

Left out or changed lists what the last build did. A product is left out when it has no title, no description, no page address, no picture, no usable price, a price in another currency, or none of brand, barcode and MPN where Meta needs one. A barcode that is not a valid GTIN is not sent, and the product stays. Titles and descriptions that are too long are cut.

A listing must be listed on the channel to appear. See Choose what is listed where.

Meta takes a product’s video; Google takes photos only. A product with a video still goes to Google, and the report lists Video not sent.
