Connect Google Drive
Keelvy keeps your library in its own storage. Connecting Google Drive puts a copy in your Drive too, in a folder you own, so your files are in a place you can open, share or back up without asking anyone.
Connect
Section titled “Connect”- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Under files and storage, find Google Drive and click Connect with Google.
- Sign in with Google and approve. Leave the Drive permission ticked. Keelvy asks for access only to the files and folders it creates.
Keelvy makes a Keelvy folder in your Drive with two folders inside: Media library and Operational files. Documents Keelvy generates are mirrored into Operational files, and Export to Google Sheets on product lists puts the sheet there.
The tile shows the Google account you connected. If Google stops accepting the connection, the tile asks you to Reconnect. Your plan decides how many integrations you can have; see Settings → Plan and usage.
Copy the media library to Drive
Section titled “Copy the media library to Drive”The media library mirror is off after you connect, because turning it on copies the whole library.
- In Settings → Integrations, open the Google Drive connection’s settings.
- Under Used for, tick Media Library mirror. Save.
- Open Media and click Sync to Drive. It copies the existing library in batches and tells you how many are Synced and how many remain. Click it again until all are mirrored.
From then on, new and changed files are copied automatically, in the same folder structure as the library, and moves, renames and deletions follow. The library in Keelvy is the master; Drive is a copy. Changing a file in Drive does not change it in Keelvy.
Import photos from a Drive folder
Section titled “Import photos from a Drive folder”When a Google Drive connection has an Incoming media folder, Import from Drive appears in Media. It reads the folder and its sub-folders, brings in new files, and keeps the folder path. The files land in the Inbox, ready to sort. Files already imported are skipped, and each imported file is moved into an Inbox/Processed folder in Drive so you can see what is done.
Disconnect
Section titled “Disconnect”- In Settings → Integrations, open the tile’s menu and choose Disconnect from Google.
Keelvy revokes its access at Google and removes the saved sign-in. Your Keelvy folder and the files in it stay in your Drive. If Google cannot be reached, Keelvy says so; remove Keelvy at myaccount.google.com/permissions to be sure.
