Connect a Wix site
Wix sites connect either by installing the Keelvy app, with no key to paste, or by an API key you create in Wix.
Install the app
Section titled “Install the app”- Open the Keelvy install link for Wix.
- Wix opens Connect {your site} to Keelvy. Sign in or choose Create an account if you need to.
- Choose the workspace and click Connect.
Orders placed on the site arrive in Keelvy as soon as they are made, and Keelvy keeps the site’s stock numbers up to date. Nothing else is sent until you choose.
The install creates a Site channel. Continue with Connect a shop that already has products and Push products to a shop.
Connect with an API key
Section titled “Connect with an API key”- Open Sales → Channels, add a channel of type Site, and click Connect a shop.
- Choose Wix.
- Enter the API key from the Wix API Keys manager. Wix shows it once, at creation.
- Enter the Account ID from the same page, then use Find my sites and pick the site, or paste the Site ID.
- Enter the Shop URL, for example
https://yourbrand.com. - Leave Catalog version on v1 unless the shop was migrated to v3. A shop not on v3 answers with an error, and the connection test reports it as a wrong version.
- Save and run the connection test.
With an API key, Wix does not register order webhooks for you. Add the order events in the Wix dashboard; the address is on the connection. Until orders arrive by webhook, Keelvy reads the shop’s orders on a schedule.
Photos and alt text
Section titled “Photos and alt text”Wix takes a photo’s alt text only on catalog version 3. On an older catalog, photos are not sent with a push, and the push panel says so.
