Invite people to your workspace
Add people in Settings → Users, the page titled Users & roles. Only an Administrator or General manager can open it.
Invite by email
Section titled “Invite by email”- Click Invite user.
- Enter the person’s Email and choose Initial roles. Click the info icon beside a role, for example “About the Sales manager role”, to read what it allows. See Roles and what each one sees.
- Click Send invite. The message says “Invitation sent.”
The person opens the link in the email, sees You have been invited, and clicks Accept invitation. That confirms the address and signs them in. Opening the link alone does nothing, so a mail scanner cannot use it up. An invitation link works once and expires.
Until then the list shows Invitation pending.
If the invitation did not arrive or expired
Section titled “If the invitation did not arrive or expired”Open the person’s row menu and click Send invitation again. A fresh link goes out, and the earlier one stops working. If the address was wrong, choose Change email first, then resend.
If the address bounced or marked Keelvy as spam, the invitation cannot reach it. Correct the address, or clear the block on the contact card, then invite again.
Create a user with a password
Section titled “Create a user with a password”Create user is for someone you will hand credentials to. Enter an email, an optional name and roles. Either type a password or tick Generate a strong password. The password is shown once after you click Create user, so click Copy credentials before Done. The person can sign in immediately.
Your plan sets how many people can be active. At the limit, you see “Your plan allows N seats and N are in use.” Deactivate someone to free a seat, or change plan.
People who already have a Keelvy account
Section titled “People who already have a Keelvy account”- A person already active in another workspace cannot be invited by email. If you administer both workspaces, use Add to workspace on their row in the other one. They start with no roles; grant them in the new workspace.
- A person you removed earlier is restored when you invite them again, with a fresh link.
- An address that already has a working account is given access and signs in as before. If they cannot get in, they use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page.
