Use the go-live checklist
While you set up, the dashboard shows a Go-live checklist card. When every step is done, you confirm a go-live date. That date marks where setup ends and operating history starts.
The steps
Section titled “The steps”The card shows progress such as “3 of 7 steps”. The steps are Products, Materials, Specifications, Locations, Initial stock, Sales channels and Integrations.
- Keelvy ticks Products, Materials, Specifications, Locations and Initial stock by itself when the data exists. Initial stock needs at least one opening balance recorded. A routine stock adjustment does not count.
- Sales channels and Integrations are ticked when you have a live channel or an active connection, or when you click Not used. Click Undo to take that back.
- Only steps your plan carries appear. A workspace with fewer capabilities has fewer steps to finish.
Go live
Section titled “Go live”- When every step is done, the card turns into Ready to go live.
- Choose the Go-live date. It cannot be in the future.
- Click Confirm go-live.
Once set, a go-live date can be moved later, never earlier. If the books are closed after the current date, moving it past them is refused until you reopen the books in Finance.
Changing the date, and setting a different one for a single legal entity, is in Settings → General, at the bottom, under Go-live. An entity can go live later than the workspace, never earlier. Only an Administrator or General manager can change it.
